Phoenix Fashion Week 2014 Print Challenge

Phoenix Fashion Week 2014 Print Challenge

Today’s the first day of Phoenix Fashion Week 2014, and to honor that, I thought I’d share my images from their model print challenge that I had the pleasure of being commissioned to shoot! We shot these up at Schumacher Mercedes in Scottsdale, AZ, with the help of Toni and Guy and a multitude of local makeup artists.

I felt like a kid in a candy store looking at all the cars that I could use to create our images. Keeping things simple and considering the time I had, you’ll see that there are only two chosen. Speaking of time, I seriously had only about 10 minutes per model. That was one of the biggest challenges personally, and a lot of these models were fresh faces whom I’d never worked with before. That said, breaking them in during the first five minutes was absolutely necessary and actually really fun. I was running on energy drinks and coffee since I had up all night getting things in order (4AM call time), so being a little silly and slap happy paid off in getting the models to crack a smile and relax a bit. All of the models were a pleasure to work with, and I’m really excited to see them strut their stuff on the runway in the coming days! Without further ado, take a look at the slideshow below!

Special thanks to my friend and assistant for the day, Brittany! Check out here work here: Brittany Hogan Photography! Also, follow me on Facebook and say hi!
